Jeff Koon's balloon Dog indoors.. why indoor?
Why display Jeff Koon's balloon dog indoors? Atleast the room aka environ needs to be in neutral palette to show off the balloon dog. What were the installer and curators and Jeff Koon himself thinking? Ofcourse this is my visceral reaction looking at the 400x400 image of the room - perhaps the feel in the space itself is different. Jeff Koon's works are so liberating - they need to be showcased in wide open spaces or in spaces where they speak loudest. Despite my acute self-awareness of the instant gratification seeker that I am, I was surprised at how frustrated I felt at not being to able respond/ post a comment on the nytimes article - start counting down 10 ..9..8 ...
