Facebook updates take over my blogging updates
Perhaps it's the brevity that appeals to me - but facebook updates have taken me away from blogging.
Is it me or were the academy awards this year totally lacklustre? It's the predictability that spoilt it for me. Even Sean's MILK win wasn't a Rourke upset. Rourke definitely needs to deliver in a role other than a wrestler.
Going through the motions of buying a home puts living, priorities in perspective. I suddenly feel old. Up until now, I could atleast don the "not old" state of mind. But I am glad I didn't give into buyer fatigue and play the usual procrastinator.
ReceDepression years take a toll with the near brink nature of everything. It almost gets all the Half Full folks into the Half Empty bucket and the usual Half Empty ones want to externalize into dry walls. Wonder how Obama and Helicopter Ben visualize Hope, Change, sunny skies. I think of my last happy place. Aside, I am resorting to only reading the Prez's speeches - the rhetoric is easier to read, for me anyway.
A couple of days ago a 15 year old cousin lost his battle to cancer. While I am almost relieved he's no longer suffering,it's amazing how friends and family pull the God cloak back on.
Cascading Failures have been my quality quest for the past month - designing to harden nondeterministic behavior against such failures is harder.
