Home use drug reaction identifier aka metabolic profiler..the young and the restless inventor

Must listen to Elizabeth Holmes,22, Theranos CEO, talking about the metabolic profiler that helps users identify possible drug reactions. Users use this glucose monitoring like device - a bit of blood is analysed, matched against data in the theranos online database - and the user's informed. I wish they would get rid of the need to poke - blood under a spectrum, people.

Staying on schedule, fusion polenta, gappa

Trying hard to keep up on schedule, i certainly savour the evening, weekend in with fusion polenta and wine, stories and music.

DOMA upheld in the state of Washington - reaction came slow. Or so it seemed to me, a recent transplant from California where reactions galore on anything.

On another vein, the recent heat waves in CA and WA and elsewhere had me wondering, given the number of heat related deaths - such a dearth of public spaces with water features that's cycled through, energy efficient. Sure they could be event spaces generating revenue off season.

H-E-A-T wave in the Pacific Northwest

Grounded. Thanks to the heat and air stagnation advisory. It is h-o-t. It is different from the Delhi heat or chennai heat. I feel sapped. Fluids, fluids, fluids.

Looking to engage..

Terms and rules at what cost?
What makes a nation?
Bloody and charred bodies crayoned borders?
Complex babel fighting heads - bah.
We could use a bunch of Gandhis here and now.
Yours truly,
Earthling.

A,Scanner Darkly

Interesting. I had to see it given the reports that every minute took 500 manhours:)
Downey's his wordy self. I thought Keanu sounded like Clint more than himself. I liked the movie.
Beware impressionable young folks - there's a just a lot of gulping down of pills.

Arghh - Zidane

Well without Zidane, Henry and Ribery and Barthez still into antics, despite playing the better game, the French lost - didn't the French play the better game this final? No acts of brilliance. Timing was a little off to realize any of those brilliant setups Zidane did.

Sandai

While I'm glad it is Reliance beating the rest into Retail in India before a Walmart or anybody else, arghhhh, "sandai" will go out of everyday vocabulary.

Sandai is the trading place for all producers from the neighboring villages etc. where price is set and where you go to get everything.

The Eurocup of a worldcup!

Bah! Ahh..brazil.

Evergreen vs the tropical green

In Seattle ramparts, the evergreen is clearly a very a different shade of green - hard to imagine the wavelength difference is really miniscule from the tropical green in the spectrum.

The undergrowth in Mt.Erie was fun. The views out and around Anacortes - breathtaking.

Work, life, all else - all seem to be at a smoother pace, given the week at this campus:)
