My "God's own country" is nolonger just mine..

Houseboats in Kerala go global. I saw waterfront property taken over slowly. I dread the "marina" zation of the backwaters. Money is such a mutant in evolution - you would think the case against homogenization simply should somehow turn some aspects of globalization on its head. Guess not. I am all for inclusive globalization, but one of the side effects, I'll just have to rely on my memory of "God's own country". Granted, everytime I visit Kerala, it resembles less of itself.[in the vernacular, i would say she resembles less of herself:-)] I hope areas are marked off as reserves for starters here and now.

"2 drinks of Propinquity pls."

Karen Stephenson quite rightfully suggests we all order 2 drinks of propinquity as often as we can.
